Around Virginia Beach, good coaches book up before each season, so ask about waiting lists and package rates rather than single lessons. Group clinics are the cheapest way for an adult beginner to get regular court time and a set of practice partners, and many programs across Virginia sort players by NTRP level so matches stay competitive. League sign-ups happen a few weeks before each season through a club or a local USTA captain. Camps and junior academies usually require a short evaluation first; ask about scholarship or sliding-scale spots, which many non-profit tennis associations offer.

I attended the Vanguard Landing Ping Pong Wellness Program Kickoff on February 9th. I was unaware of the benefits that come with playing ping pong. Ken did an amazing job explaining how this fun game provides cognitive benefits. I was impressed with the professionalism and knowledge that Ken and his team provided. This is such an amazing organization and I am happy to hear about all of the different facilities and organizations that Ping Pong Gives is apart of in the Hampton Roads area. Thank you for your commitment to helping communities enhance their cognitive abilities while engaging in a fun and exciting game that all can play!!

So much fun playing in the Slammers league, attending the Slamfest party and competing in the tournament. I really liked the way players were grouped by skill level this year. A great improvement. Thanks to everyone who works to create these great experiences!

Truly a wonderful organization of people who care about the health and well-being of our community. Their annual Celebrity SlamFEST Party and Ping Pong tournament is so much fun and raises much-needed funds for some important organizations in our community (CHKD, FACT Autism center, the Alzheimer's assoc., and many more). So appreciative of all they do!

Ping Pong for Charity has a special place in my ❤️! Giving back to the community and supporting mental health is so important in these challenging times. Love the support for Vanguard Landing which will be a residential option for a safe, inclusive, and interactive community for people with intellectual and developmental differences where individuals can thrive and reach their full potential. Thanks to the many generous and loving supporters, Ken Lees, and the Ping Pong for Charity board members. Can't wait to be back next year!
